Winter Shooting {Louisville Dog Photographer}

Just a quick post about shooting in the winter.  Why do so many people want to avoid it?  I guess because it’s freezing outside and, of course, the horses are hairy and the little dogs need to wear parkas.

But if you have a lovely larger dog like a Golden Retriever, for example, you might want to consider a winter shoot! Why? Because you almost can’t find deep, rich, textures like this at any other time.

It’s true that you don’t get the flowers and the green grass or the autumn leaves.  But this is what you can get- and I think it’s truly just as beautiful in it’s own way:)
